Comments: More from the Day of Bokeh (as I like to call it). I don't know how I feel about this photo with the pylon cutting off the image but I really like how he is looking up. and the clarity.

More from that day:

Animal: Snow Leopard
Photo Location: Rosamond Gifford Zoo
Camera/Lens: Nikon D5000/70-200mm

I try and individually thank everyone but sometimes I don't get around to it so THANK YOU in advanced for any comments/critiques/:+fav:s!

You don't think the wooden pole wrecks it? I love it too but the composition is ehh. Bokeh is awesome though.

Thanks that makes me feel better. I love it but I just thought others would be like "ew" haha. I just go to the zoo like every other person. I usually bring a book and stay at one exhibit each time I visit though that way I don't miss anything. And when they are being boring and sleeping I read. Idk I'm weird. The zoo I go to has the animals I like spread out far so its not like I can just wander back and forth. Plus I think thats how you miss great shots like this! The sun was only out for 4 minutes so the bokeh was gone quickly. Right place and right time :D

Oh :)
I have a shameful little secret, I've only been to the zoo twice and both times 1.I was like 4 and 7, not the excited type either, more like the "leave me alone and let me read" type 2. it was a drag and I hated every moment of it.
Somehow now it seems like a strange idea to go to the zoo because in my mind its perceived as a childish activity, I think I need a corrective experience! :D
